eon, for what doesn't fade
Five ingredients
Nothing unpronounceable
Five ingredients
Tallow, jojoba, castor, beeswax and a four-oil aroma blend. Everything on the label is something you can pronounce.
One step
No serums, no essences, no toner, no order of operations to remember. Wash, then this. That is the whole routine.
Made by hand
Rendered, blended and poured in small batches in Dee Why. Every tin carries the date its batch was made.
Your skin does not need managing. It needs feeding. Tallow closely resembles the fats your skin already makes, which is why it absorbs the way it does, and why women used it for generations before anyone thought to make it complicated.
The whole range
Bergamot opens it bright and a little bitter. Sage sits underneath as a dry herbal middle. Frankincense holds the base warm and resinous, with helichrysum bridging the two on a honeyed, hay-like note.
65 per cent. The base, with a fatty acid profile close to skin's own.
18 per cent. Cuts the richness so it absorbs without heaviness.
8 per cent. Slip, glide and a soft sheen on the skin.
8 per cent. Structure, and a film that still lets skin breathe.
1 per cent. Frankincense, bergamot, sage and helichrysum.
I spent fifteen years marketing other people's products, a fair few of them in beauty. I know exactly how the industry sells to women, because I helped it do so. Aureon is what I wanted instead. Five ingredients. Something my grandmother would have recognised. Something that takes four seconds in the morning and then gets out of your way.
